Hello All

I wonder if anybody out there can help. The [FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif][SIZE=-1]safety overtemperature thermal cut-out on my boiler kicks in after an hour or so of running. The only thing that come to mind, is the pump (wilo gold 60) is large enough for the system. I have 17 radiators, some quite large and quite a long pipe run, around 30m from the boiler to the last radiator.
As you can tell I'm not sure what the problem is but would be more than happy to provide any information required.

Hoping someone can help :confused::confused::confused:

sounds like poor flow through boiler! what system are you running?

I am a bit of a novice so you will have to excuse my ignorance, but by system do you mean the pipework, if so it is feed and return open vented

open vent! ok, firstly are you getting water to your upstairs radiators when you bleed them?

It is an oil fired boiler, there are no markings on the outside case, so not sure of the make, but the burner ID plate says Bentone ST120E
