Hello!
I have a butane tank standing under or close to an electric fence for the horses.
My question: Could this become a dangerous situation
if somehow the wire would come down and touch the surface
of the tank?
I know that the easiest solution would be displacing the tank,
but I want to ask, if there would be any risk in getting sparks
into the tank or if they would stay at the outside surface.
Thanks for your help,
VC

For those not used to such fences they are very low voltage and generally run off 12v car batteries.
Just thought I`d throw that in before anyone answers.

Not much current , so damage to tank cometic (=paint)
(unlike a welder) .
So long as tank is stood on ground , =earthed , can see few consequences , bar regular checks for leaks .
(and not going out of way to make sparks when changing bottles)

Fencers do make 500V -to 1kVspikes ..ouch, Enough to get thru clothing / fur . (12V..!)
