Had this job today, customer has 2 identical showers, both connected to the same pump.

50 gal cwst

customer says not happy with the operation of one of them, I personally couldn't notice a difference between the 2. I said that to the customer, being honest.

she wants the shower replaced, but no longer wants this shower pumped. I put to her the idea of having cold mains electric shower fitted and I can do any making good.

Airing cupboard next door with cold mains going up to the tanks.

just want to check a couple of things, I was going to tee in to the cold mains in the airing cupboard for the the new shower and cap off the existing shower pipes.

is there any reason why this can't be done plumbing wise?

I've told her she will have to get the electrics sorted before I can fit the shower which she has agreed to do.

is there anything I need to be wary of?

as long as the pressure is fine no problem and try and talk to the sparky as you need the biggest output eg 9.8-10.8kw as will give her more flow (if the mains is good)

Thanks, I left notes for her to pass to the sparky. Pretty much said I need electrics suitable for a 10.8kw shower.
