Well, just taken out a compression valve that would have been behind the shower valve, on speedfit, no inserts. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

:D I think next time you see him you should remove his tooks and just leave him a hammer and screwdriver

:D very expensive sinks

From ladders or tower....?

How are the joints made?

3 sec Ladder and pulley same as push fit but more of a pita as there really really tight to account for any defects in the casting

Meant to add this photo yesterday.

Pulley attached to ladders?
Plenty of silicone grease then?

Like them double bends at the bottom :)

Anchor at the top where the brick jumps out then a 4-1 pulley and yes plenty you even have to insert a plug first to make it easier for the pipe to go in, so plug in lube the pipe up remove the plug insert the pipe around 40kg of pressure needed (roughly) helps if the rubbers are warm will take a pic of the fitting tomorrow

What does a length of pipe weigh?

Toilet overflow ?? Any reason

C'mon, I repiped the cold and got rid of the boxing on the wall under the window.

Seriously though, didn't want to pay for a new syphon, even though I had the toilet apart.
I would have changed it, but there you go.
Sods law, is it may need one now anyway.

The floors the best bit, nearly a full tile, 65mm, from one side to the other. I said I could level it, but again didn't want to pay.

Around 20 kg for 1.8 and 35kg for 3m

On your own Shaun, you must have some 'guns'?

Cor I've wrestled with a few cc cistern overflow's in my lifetime - was great when England approved internal overflows (warning pipes) - on the other hand how much water is wasted down the pan every year........??

I think people tend to get them fixed quicker with the internal overflows.

But it's one of those jobs where its dripped for 4 months but it's an emergency at 4.00 on a friday afternoon.
