Gas Engineer
hello people

first time i have been asked to price for a underfloor heating system so just after bit of advice.
area is 40m2.

how many m2 should you have to a zone?

thanks Dot

tbh it depends on the house,
whats the floor made of,
any insulation etc

might be worth ringing a few decent underfloor company's up / training days

also depends on layout, not much point in zoning off different areas if its all open plan etc

Think he means circuits Tolly, but you are right in what your saying.

it will depend on type of system and pipe size as well, overboard, screed or metal plate?

best bet is to get a couple of quotes, send them your drawings and they will plan it for you.

Ask who your buying the underfloor from to spec it
They will do heat loss calcs and tell you how many circuits and at what spacing pipe needs to be
