I am to fit an ensuite to our bedroom.

i have planned where the shower sink and toilet will go but have the question how to tap into the sewer pipe?

The en suite will be next to the bathroom to the left in the picture. You can see the current toilet waste going into the waste pipe (all plastic)

if I fit a toilet the same height how can I fit into the connection? The toilet will be 12ft to the left of the current toilet.

i plan to run the shower and sink waste to the hopper which you can just see in the very left of the picture so it's just the toilet waste I am stuck on.

any advise will be much appreciated.

Well if its 12ft to the left then surely the fall required is going to take the connection below the branch already fitted?

Thank you that's a good start, how much fall do I need to calculate for 12ft?
thanks

Ok so that would be suitable? What fitting do I need to go into the pipe?
Thanks again

A 110mm branch, you may need to move the clip.
You should be able to fit onto the spigot of the branch above and fit a slip coupling below.

fall should be 1 in 40so minimum of 4 inches cut a branch in imediatley below existing and run across to a bend out ofthe wallwall probably into a 135 to join up

Thank you, is there a link to a picture so I can understand exactly what you mean? Wat do you mean as a spigot? Thanks

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
