Ginger plumbing

Hi there I'm GSR and still and have been to a couple of biasi no hot problems now. The pin on diverter valve never seems to come out enough to make the micro switch. Flow switch seems to work as red LED comes on. I tried replacing diaphragm without any luck. But the the bloody pin still stops just too short to push the micro switch. I take it this is a common problem with these boilers.?????
