Can anyone tell me what is the best way to drill a hole in a soil stack. What drill would be best. Its external. Thanks.

Last time I had to do it it was low down for a shower. I held an off cut of ply up against the house, resting on the floor , and cut through this first to use as a guide for the hole saw. Made it safer/easier and means you don’t need the pilot drill in your hole saw.

It's quite soft so hole-saw as above. Won't take a minute. Don't let the cut piece fall down the pipe.

until you hit a hard spot then it’s a pain
