Cws tank to current vented cylinder....yes.Think of your current height and coil height bet that’s over 2m
Its mad...things are going to crash soon...people simply arnt earning enough to pay the trades going ratesEasier just to seal as @ShaunCorbs says. No point going to the effort to raise the tank.
£360 is up North, so £450 South West is probably not bad
Don't forget, pay cheap pay twice. Good labour costs.

Why does the feed and expansion for the boiler need to be a mimimum 2m??
Don't like their price? Then just ask another firm to give you a quote. Its mad...things are going to crash soon...people simply arnt earning enough to pay the trades going rates

Thanks Shaun....think i need to rethink or fully understand what im needing ot what people are trying to inatall!....To have a high resistance so when hot water only is on it doesn’t pump over
and there lies the problem. Ring and leave messages and never get a response!Don't like their price? Then just ask another firm to give you a quote.
You are assuming the feed and vent are connected either side of the boiler? I'd have the feed and vent both on the suction side of the pump on a low head system, no pumping over and only consideration is enough head to prevent cavitation. To have a high resistance so when hot water only is on it doesn’t pump over
Bit beond me at present tbh...You are assuming the feed and vent are connected either side of the boiler? I'd have the feed and vent both on the suction side of the pump on a low head system, no pumping over and only consideration is enough head to prevent cavitation.
I have no F+E tankLike this. Both cold feed and vent on the flow pipe off the boiler.
You mentioned one in post #56I have no F+E tank
Removed nowYou mentioned one in post #56
"Raise f+e tank in loft."
