just had my tpi fga back from calibration they charged £240,but its now saying flo err which the book says filters dirty so i replaced them, should they sort this out[tpi] as it worked ok before calibration

Also have a TPI and suffer from the same high calibration costs. Yes I would complain/enquire to TPI

buy a kane 250 for around £250 and calibration inc replacement of co and o2 sensors was only £80 by kane. when o2 sensor failed replacement was free i only had to pay postage

I nearly bought a TPI 712 this morning but my internet stopped for a couple of hours so I left it.
Are these known to be a bit dodgy? the price is good.
I want one which does pressures as well so I don't have to get manometer and FGA calibrated every year, Kane 250 doesn't do pressure does it?

kane 250 is gas analiser on its own, i have a digital manometer£65 for pressure and an Anton gas detector £105 which all worked out cheaper than an all in one unit. The best bit is if anyof them need repairing I still have the rest to work with and dont lose everything. Years of experience have shown me that you never put all your eggs in one basket as it always goes wrong somehow.omho

to calibrate a manometer test it against another manomet, works for me, and a gas sensor is easily tested (fart)

i,ve the kane 250 its a hardy machine although will need a new one poss 400 when we need to do NOx whenever that will be, old plumber gsr like to see your calibration for your manometer send both off at same time and both cost just over 100 which i dont think is bad
