Hi
The motor on the sanicompact I have started running after I used it today and now the motor won't stop running but the water is not going anywhere.

I also have a cloakroom sink which drains into the sanicompact and I have run the water in this and the water is just collecting in the sani.

I have switched the elecric to the toilet off now.

I am not a plumber and just wondering before I call one any ideas what I could do to try and fix it please?

Thanks

Sounds like a blockage , and the sanilflo / macerator isnt 'macerating' get a pro out to sort it

Is it new? I took one out the other week as it blocked up. I cleared the macerator part and put it together again. That part worked but as it has been working over time the pump had failed to get rid of the waste so it was just whipping the mess round and round. Time to get a new pump or remove it completely.

The first, last and only time ive ever fixed a macerator I found a piece of glass blocking one of the pipes on the outlet of the pump, a bit worrying, confusing and gross. put it all back together again and the thing wouldnt stop shorting. plenty of sealanet sorted it. good luck.
