HI Danni where are you based! sorry you got stitched in a social move! but the still have a responsabilty!

Your problems to me sounds like there a problem with one of 3 things:-

loft tank not filling fast enough,
Either the float is stuck up or the valve is full of crud = new part 2 float valve and float under £10.

Air lock in the hot water system,
could try blasting it back with the cold main.

Blockage in the pipe work,
harder to resolve!

Just thought of another do you a thermostatic mixer on the bath or a TMV 3 somewhere to limit the temp of the hot, then these could be faulty and shutting down at temp!
