Has anyone used this? Is it good or has it caused issues with clogging parts of the system up.

Haven't used that one, have used Sentinel leak sealer (not my choice the firms) but I'm led to believe (via another forum - good engineer) leak sealer does clog up plate hex's and other narrow water ways.

Last resort mate and never on a combi type system it is good stuff we had a trade day demonstration, but for me personally I don't like using anything that could possibly clog up any water ways so as I said only use it as a last resort and only on a open type system . Kop

The proposed job is a combi boiler with microbore piping feed through 2 manifold. This could be an problem I guess.

And more likely the plate hex waterways, and depending on combi, main hex waterways
They said put it in at a radiator furtherest away from the boiler so it will be diluted by the time it gets back to the boiler. Problem being then is the radiators are fed up 10mm pipe back to a manifold.

They system is pretty clean and sludge free. But could the sealer still cause partial blockages that won't be removed by a drain down in the 10mm plastic? Customer wanted to try it as wasn't botherd of it clogged up boiler may need a new boiler soon anyway. But if it can clog the microbore piping or connections on manifolds. It doesn't seem worth the risk

Could do more harm than good, what’s the leak?

Hex on a logic so I don't think will even seal it and then could have a chance of clogging up the rest of system which is micro bore and manifolds.

So the leak is on the hex? I doubt you’ll get that to seal.

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
