Discuss Can I fit a pan connector from toilet to sani in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net

Thanks for the photos they made life easier.
One thing though, the discharge elbow is rubber as is the Grey connecter you used to join it to the solvent weld pipe, did you use a short length of pipe inbetween, rubber on rubber isn`t a good joint.
Okay so I’m back and cut the wires and it’s all switched on. It doesn’t kick in when the basin is on ?! So can flud if the tap is left running but it’s kicking In when I flush it now

After more tests. I run the basin tap which is connected into lower outlet and the sani will not pump away. It starts to fill up the pan. If I then immediately after flush the toilet the sani does not pump away.

It should
Sounds like pressure switch misbehaving
Could be damaged in transit
Isolate all water
Call the warranty phone number

Nothing optimistic about it harvest, fitted loads of customer supplied pumps from fleabay which don`t work, even had a 10yr old pump where customer had been told it was only 2yr old and had been hardly used! Robbing bar stewards out there.

The optimistic wasn’t about you mate. It was about EBay. Sold a 1 month old Bristan tap on eBay with a warranty card. They then decided they had a fault with it after 3 weeks. I explained they needed to go to Bristan. EBay automatically gave them a refund from my account without even talking to me. I hate EBay. The seller has no protection what so ever.

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
