16l/min 3barViessmann 111 what's your incoming water pressure and flow
But These are the first people that come on here complaining that they don’t have adequate hot water or they think the installers done something wrong when they probably haven’t
... that’s fine no one in our house showers at the same time but they can’t see how circumstances can change in the future or when they come to sell the property all these sorts of things will be flagged up and it will cost them long term
Vaillant 938 combi storage best solution unless not many ppl live there and no one will take a shower in the same time
Up to 3 Bathrooms Riley. No problem with this type of boiler. This type of boiler is a combi ... its Kind of combination storage designed for big family houses. But that’s not future proofing Ron if it’s a two bathroom place it should have a suitable hot water set up. You don’t want a boiler to just about cope nor should it be the next house buyers job to spec it properly

I know what it is but a Cylinder is still better mate. Can do up to 50 lpm whereas 938 can do up to 20. To me that’s just about coping with demand
Yes! Why going back in tiles when you can go forward? Uk love to be 50 years behind other countries? However, you can fit even a stream Heating system if you wanted to, me personalny i am going with the future which in turn safes a lot MORE monety and hassle.Ron loves the combi’s Riley.
BOILER CONDENSATION VAILLANT ECOCOMPACT VSC 256/4-5 150 VAILLANT 0010014669 8747463186316 | eBayYes I saw that but it’s kind of reinforcing the point the combi isn’t really suitable
I wish these things were flagged up when purchasing a property. My daughter has just moved into a 1935 house ... looks Great. She had a top of the range building survey. Nothing done on the plumbing apart from turn on taps. The incoming main is 15 mm. Combi boiler at one end of house. Flow rate at bath (one tap) 11 lpm, with nothing else being used. Two bathrooms. 35 kw boiler. Sure that boiler would provide adequate hot water ... but limitations might be flow rate through long lengths of 15mm plastic pipe.I don’t know if it’s just me though, I think of myself as a very good communicator with customers and it is amazing the amount of them that are so misinformed when it comes to combis. They all think of a hot water cylinder, be it unvented or vented as being antiquated and think that a Combi is supermodern. I hear all the time people saying but that’s fine no one in our house showers at the same time but they can’t see how circumstances can change in the future or when they come to sell the property all these sorts of things will be flagged up and it will cost them long term

In America max permisssible flow rate for showers is 2.5 US gals a minute ... 9.5 litres, now that will be a hot and cold mix, say 6 litres of hot a minute .... enough for 3 showers simultaneously. 50 lpm seems a bit OTT.I know what it is but a Cylinder is still better mate. Can do up to 50 lpm whereas 938 can do up to 20. To me that’s just about coping with demand
And again surveys in this country are carried out by people that might know bits about a lot but the first thing they’ll do if they see an old floor standing boiler, even if it’s working really well is to flag it and say a new one will be requiredI wish these things were flagged up when purchasing a property. In America the max permissible shower flow rate is 2.5 US gallons per min .. 9.5 litres a minute . this mus be a pretty good flow rate. In these environmentally friendly times perhaps we should be looking towards lower flow rates.
