Hey ,

Main BF water heaters terminating below a window literally the flue comes out 2 inches under the cill Within 1500 of the openable part ( around 700mm)

Another same place With in 400mm of 2 openable windows ( MI say 600mm)

Another same place (not as bad but still not compliant with MI )with in 1500mm ( around 1200mm) from window above

Apparently this is OK according to another 'GSR' and Main Engineer . And he says that Gas safe said was ok but that must be confusion i don't see why gas safe would say its ok over the phone when it doesn't comply with MIs

Which kind of makes me look bad as i told him they want changing, it is a rented property I told him i am not happy to put my name on LLSC, Which kind of makes me look like an idiot i feel, As the Management going at me saying Main say it is ok (Its only a Main engineer not in writing might as well ask the tennants) and another 'GSR' says its ok )

As im a young guy i don't think people trust what i say and trust the older guys more (Some seem like idiots btw like who ever fitted them wrong) I feel they think im trying to rip them off etc

Do you think i did the correct thing ( I think i did why safety cert something that has not been installed to MIs )

Sorry for my Rant

Also same building Management got/getting other GSR who will LLSC / service them he is not TCPC1 a or what ever the numbers the gas meter is big with 3 inch steel pipes surely the primary meter and pipework needs tightness testing inspecting each year as part of safety certs.

Obiously im not doing that and not the rest.
