Like me, nearly decomposing, the old fossil clearly enjoyed it. It was obvious he'd seen a few... he just banged it off. Runs sweet.
 
If you have worked on them you know they are usually full of crap every year. However, maybe you should have it serviced annually to avoid this volume of build up. He should have seen this but I agree that when people stand over you the pressure does feel greater and the nieve "so what's wrong with it?" question, every two minutes, can be very distracting and frustrating.

Sadly, with our first contestant, I don't think too much was to do with me.

The ol' duffer? Went straight for the wing-nuts that hold the burner-bar in. Grinning that he remembered where they were, by feel.

He just could.
