I have got two of them. One is actually called a plumbers bag, which I think that is it in the picture. (The other one I have is a near identical but a slightly more basic version & was about ÂŁ24 on an offer from Homebase)
Tbh, my feelings about the plumbing bag is it is quite bulky, very heavy even if only half filled with tools. I have partly dislodged one of the little metal catches on the top.
I do carry the bag into jobs, but because of the weight it is hard going. Very handy having most of my smaller tools at hand. The tool holder for screwdrivers etc on the inside of the fold down side is handy. It can be hard finding tools in the bottom of the bag.
It might be advisable to buy 2 smaller tool bags that would be easy to carry or 1 large tougher bag. The cheaper bag I got, which I haven't used yet, seems nearly as good.
Got to agree with Best, I've got one from homebase it was a good cheap buy at the time and had been reduced over a few months from ÂŁ60 down to ÂŁ20. It is however like Best said very heavy and I find after a couple of weeks of throwing lockshields in and bits of copper and brass that I have to keep emptying it and cleaning it. The lad who works for me asked the other day which is the best bag I've had (He needs a new un)and after some thought I think the old tote tray (cleaners tray) was probably the easiest to find things in and keep tidy.
