Hi guys, as the title says. I went to quote for a bathroom today and the lady wants to know if i can get rid of the hot water storage vessel, and put in something her neighbour has.

Am not sure what her neighbour has but the flat is all electric. So the cylinder is just an immersion.

The flat only has a bath, basin and kitchen sink. also an electric shower. Which i would take out as mains pressure through the electric heater.

Have any of you guys fitted an electric water heater that is suitable for a flat like this.

Heating is not required.

Any advice would be great. And even better if you can recommend a product.

Regards

Lee

So you're saying it's currently an electrically heated heat store / unvented system? I can't think of anything better to replace it with without gas.

Have a look into a electric boiler, seem to be a few on market. Haven't personally fitted any so I can't say if they are any good or not.

Sorry, did not write it clearly enough. Its a vented hot water cylinder but electric.

I have looked at electric boilers. But, they all seem to be combination boilers. I don't need the heating side.
