Hi

I have a friend has no hot water but heating would it be either a MV problem if a system boiler or a diverter Vv if he has a combi ??

If anyone can advise I'd be very grateful

Kind regards

Hopefully someone will answer this for you this evening. I don't know the ansswer because it's a gas boiler (and I only do oil).

Reason I'm responding is to bump the thread but also to say that this is another reason I don't like combi's. At least with a system boiler you can turn the immersion heater on if the boiler fails.

Hope you get a swift answer now as my response is not at all helpful.

(PS - you'll probably be asked for the name (and model type?) so if you post these up you'll probably get some better assistance.)

or nothing if its gravity and the tank has run dry or frozen,it does all depend on system/boiler type if you can give us a bit more info

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
