I'v been replacing and fitting new boilers for a few years now but not had to do much in the way of fault finding and fixing in side the. Recently been given a multimeter by my boss as I've been teaching myself to wire a complete heating system from scratch( which is going really well). So as to get the most out of the multimeter I've been looking on the web for help and have come across references about using it for fault finding on boilers but no detail as to what faults and the procedure of doing so. Can anyone enlighten me?

I'm afraid you'll have to get your post count up to 10 then prove your gas safe registration to one of the mods before we can divulge any advice for working on gas appliances.
