hello
I have a Baxi combi 80e boiler and it has developed a problem any advice will be greatly appreciated.
When i turn on the hot tap (fully open) the little rod in the pressure differential assembly (DHW) either does not come out to activate switch or it takes a long time to come out. Also there has been a very slight leak for a while now in the centre of the pressure differential assembly around the rod that activates switch.
I could obviously replace the the whole hydraulic outlet assembly, 3 way valve and pressure differential assembly but was wondering if could try replacing diaphragm or any other parts and what is the best order to do things. Also the water flow on hot tap seems to be greatly reduced and just to let you know the central heating still works properly.
Hope i have explained that ok and thanks in advance for any suggestions on best way to go about this as funds are a little tight at moment.

Cliff

Just swap the thingmy and it will all be tickityboo.

You already know the answer.

Harry figured out the inner workings of a baxi divertor valve and fixed the problem for about a tenner:)
