Hi does anyone know any good websites or books that deal with sizing of central heating pipework?

"Domestic Heating design guide" is the book to have.

both of those suggested are good and also Roy Treloar (plumbing and heating) book has a good few pages on pipe and pump sizing which i have used quite a few times.
