hi guys, got a prob with one rad in the bathroom, always having to bleed it, very noisy, rented house landlord unsympathetic, cant find any leeks wondering if the vent pipe outlet was to low would this cause suction.

whatever the problem is its the landlords responsibility and as such no other person can undertake work in the house without landlords permission

got full permission from landlord, and he will meet any costs.

Hi mate,

your cwc vent pipe should be a minimum of 150mm above the tank + 40mm for every meter head from the base of your hot water cylinder.

and the vent pipe above your feed and expansion tank should be a min of 450mm.

hope this helps.

yes checked the height of pipes and all are correct, any other ideas? i also checked for leaks all okay!!!
