Just out of curiosity what would keep in your other toolbox:):)regards turnpin

i keep thinking of things then scroll up and down and he has them on the list, i'm giving up looking, watching sky sports, Man U lost 4-0 in the cup, and Frankie Boyle prog is on at 10pm, ( young plumber of the year is on at 10.30pm on BBC 3 if anyone cares) it will actually still be on if you dont care!!!!

I did miss something - spare 10mm, 15mm, 22mm and 28mm pipe, and an old circulating pump, and plastic plumbing fittings, washers, syphons ... there's so much flamin' stuff you need

And new van brochures

hairdryer good for wet pcbs and conden pipes

You have missed off ptfe tape - how dare you!

Any self respecting 'pseudo-plumber' can fix anything with a few rolls of this!

When I am called out to a leak I just smother everything in boss-white, and mummify the pipework with ptfe tape. Job done - £100 please!!!

did you copy and paste this from some where ? or actually sit and write all this out lol

Knowing DK he sat and wrote it out. Handy though, I just copied it to answer my bosses question about essential van stock.

No doubt I'll be ignored again!

I typed it - in an earlier job I turned into a secretary (don't ask how!) I ended up typing at 90wpm which was faster than most women and I still couldn't get a secretarial temping job with that speed.

I'm not such an anorak that I took my laptop out to the van though, in case you were all wondering.

And where's me bloomin' Thank You from the OP for all the time and trouble?

:p:p

Oh, most of the posters on here are like that - they are all 'can you help me pretty please?'

When you do they are off like a rat out of an aquaduct - poof!!

Not a hint of a thanks . . .

I am copying those lists and then make them standard for our van stock

+ diesel card
