Can anyone explain how to add a waste trap to this sink please. The sink is stone and the only access is from below (shown). There is no plug.

Thanks

Find some way of siliconing a trap to it?! May need to cut a flat face to it so it has a bigger surface to attach to underneath? Wouldn't like to try it myself though. Surely there is an actual fitting for this type of instance?

presuming thats a basin not a sink, but go back to your supplier or the manufacturer for advice

why is there no access from above? can you post a picture so we can see from above pretty please.

Stainless steel or polished chrome tundish with a rubber seal (5mm) then off to an architectural trap. Will all need to be supported and rigid. Alternately a bucket? But mfr should tell you. Isn't it in spec?

Thanks for your help. Here is an overhead pic. I will try to get to the shop today to ask.DSCF0330.jpg

How the hell are you supposed to wash in that ? look flash but not practical .

Surely a bathroom like that has it's own Ensuite with proper sinks in??

As smart as it looks, I'd never get my feet in the one in the O.P

Given it's style it's going to need a very discrete waste setup and no grid in the waste

I'd be looking at getting a Hep waterless with elbow to keep the trap and pipe well up under the basin.

cut the grid out of a short shower waste and epoxy resin glue it to the bottom of the basin
