Who do you guys use for your unvented cylinder spares? mainly expansion vessels and combination valves etc

I find most merchants cant be bothered to try and track them down and after speaking to 3 different suppliers trying to get some seals for an Ideal Logic today I am trying to get most my spares ordered online now as I found the bits I needed in 1 minute after spending ages on the phone to them trying to explain what I need as the manufacturers part number wasn't bringing anything up on their systems.

Internet

Tried merchant but they can't compare price wise

Bought a prv last week £64 online, few merchants were £82+

Any specific site for unvented spares? I know of a couple good ones for boiler spares, but they don't do anything related to unvented cylinders.

local independent every time for me, must be lucky, don't have to pay up front, waste time on the net and miss deliveries :)

Pretty much! I had the manufacturers part number and they are telling me the bits don't exist. I just asked them to call Ideal and they will be able to order them in. They refused and said I need to come down to the shop to show them the bit on parts arena. I'm fed up of dealing with complete morons.

CHC i use very good

***bria Heating Components specialist suppliers of domestic & industrial heating

if they dont have it like jon said awc

I use " advanced water company ", not cheap but good service

As above. Many times I've photo'd something and emailed it to them and said what's the latest part replacement for this, normally a combination valve and they reply with a link and I order it. I think their customer is top notch.

Advanced water company are very good, with next day delivery!

Or unvented cylinder spaces Europe, also very good & a little cheaper I find, with next day delivery option too!

I have ordered from advanced water and they haven't processed my order in 2 days or given me a delivery date. Far from impressed at the moment.

An expansion vessel and a prv. Order placed online 2 days ago, I am going to have to call them tomorrow to chase them up.

Just ordered an expansion vessel for oil boiler, they were cheaper than Europe spares, it says in stock so I'm hoping they'll deliver it tomorrow!

Did you speak to them today?

Yeah its being delivered Monday. I kind of needed it today and I was also expecting next day delivery, so as I ordered Tuesday evening I was expecting it on Thursday. Oh well, not the end of the world. Just not the best communication from them.

Good evening, I'd like your opinion on something that is worrying me please: my landlady's plumber replaced the bottom/night element of my 20-year-old unvented cylinder (an Ariston Classico HE STD 150) 5 days ago and I hadn't noticed that it was leaking. He fixed the leak today but now the...

Hi all, looking for some recommendations for a slimline indirect unvented cylinder to go with a new system boiler that we're having installed soon. Only need around 120/125 ltr for our usage and could possibly make do with 100. Been looking at a few different brands including the Megaflo which...

Hi all. As the title says, I have a problem with an unvented cylinder I had installed last year where the first time I turn a hot tap on after the cylinder has been heated I get what sounds like a vibration. It generally starts about 1s after I open the tap and lasts for about 1.5s. I've...
