Should i use Ptfe tape?

Firstly im fitting some basin taps, ive now got the washers. Should i use ptfe tape on the basin tap tails/extension threads? If i should how much should i put on?

No ptfe on tap threads waste of time don't do anything .

As above no PTFE on the threads no point the seal is mate by the oring against the tap body Regards Kop

I presume you have flexi pipes connecting to the taps like this:

Flexible tap connectors have a rubber washer and PTFE tape is not needed.

No they are 1/2 extenders because the new taps have shorter tails. When i put them on without the fibre washers they were leaking, sorted the washers now.
