Need help finding replacement Radiator

Hi all,

Wondering if you can help me, i am having my bathroom newly tiled and am looking into replacing the radiator with a new one as the one i have now is old and rusting away.

I have attached some pictures with all the dimensions to see if that helps.

In terms of depth off the wallKeep in mind that the tiles will bring the wall out further so you may have to tweak the pipework slightly

I may just ask the tiler to tile around the brackets as i wanna try and use the same screw holes due to the walls being plasterboard, the walls in my home don't like messing with

My walls even have a hard time with floating shelves

You will find that tiles will add some rigidity to the wall. It’s not like you’re hanging a huge double rad on it after all. Plus there’s no guarantee your new rad will have exactly the same hanging points

Very true, was wondering, tile is 8mm thick, adhesive is around 3-4mm thick so that is adding 11-12mm added depth, is there slimmer brackets depth wise to compensate for the 11-12mm?

Most brackets can be turned to adjust depth off wall but don’t be so obsessed with it slotting straight back on in place of the old as simple pipework tweaks will be easy for a plumber unless you’re confident. By tugging at the tails to make them fit you could inadvertently cause a leak or bend or crease the pipework under the floor leading to issues down the line.

Thanks for the info.

Had a little look around and found some different size depth brackets so will let the wall be tiled and then measure the new distance and buy the bracket closest for the fit, i will then drill new holes for the brackets.
