Is that a tiled wall tap heads are coming through?
Hi Exedon2 the tap below is a mixer. The top fixture is to divert water to a shower above or go to the normal tap. I am trying to fix the diverter but I cannot figure how to remove it. Hope that you or someone has come across such fixture. Thks for your reply.

Rgds,

I'n not familiar with that fixture!
The sleeve (nut?) behind and surrounding the splined shaft appears to have a slot at the top and bottom, in which case this is to take a 2-prong tool to undo it.
Either fabricate a tool, or try tapping a screwdriver placed in the slot diagonally to attempt to move it, or try needle nosed pliers and a wrench if the points of the pliers will fit in the slots!
I'm guessing that undoing that ferrule/ nut will allow you to take the chrome cover off, to reveal the valve behind?

Hi Basher thks for your reply. I have tried some of your methods but find that the push pull diverter is tricky. I hope someone has done this before and show me the way. Thks

I have a wall mounted bathroom tap that leaks. Presumably I need a washer of sorts replaced. I cannot work out which tool I need to remove the tap. There is a small hole (8mm?) to the side but I can’t seem to get a fixing from either a alum key or screwdriver. Ever hopeful…? Matt
