Anyone identify this?

Good morning folks,

Can anyone identify what this part is? The fella that showed me it said he took it off a combi boiler in a UK fire station that was being scrapped, around 1990's, the folded ended has a small hole, about 7mm, ...stat pocket?...the other end was just plain pipe from what he remembers.

Nope, there were two of them factory fitted on the boiler.

Any idea of make/model of boiler it was from? Might be in the manual.
