Good morning folks,

Can anyone identify what this part is? The fella that showed me it said he took it off a combi boiler in a UK fire station that was being scrapped, around 1990's, the folded ended has a small hole, about 7mm, ...stat pocket?...the other end was just plain pipe from what he remembers.
