Hi all, I am in the process of looking to upgrade my thermostat to a Nest wifi stat. Can anyone let me know whether they have succeeded in fitting one to this style boiler? my current programmer / stat has 3 wires into boiler ( low voltage), I am aware the nest is only 2 wire 240v switching.

Can anyone confirm this Nest will work with boiler mentioned, much appreciated if so?

The heat link needs a live & neutral 240v, plus switch wires to the boiler this is normally adjacent the boiler... the nest stat itself can be fitted to a power socket nearby with a 12v power cable

Hi thanks for the reply. I am aware of the 240 to power heat link, and the switch out to the boiler for call for heat etc, it's more so to do with my boiler, as i am reading that this style boiler will talk to a manufacturer only thermostat, anyone have any info on this? and whether there is a work around?

thanks again

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
