Waste pipes

Hi Have just started a bathroom, at the moment the bath and sink waste run out of the wall into the main soil pipe which is plastic.The bath and sink are going to be move which means the new waste pipes will not run into the same position, what does one use to cover the old holes in the soil pipe, at the moment they have strap ons.
Hopes this makes sense
