Thermostatic Bar Mixer Shower Problem

Morning all!

I have a customer with a thermostatic bar mixer shower, which after about 2 mins of use is then fluctuating temperature wise from hot to cold and back. Would I be right in assuming this is the thermostatic cartridge?

Providing that there is a constant supply of hot water.

I replaced a cartridge once only to be told by the customer that they had problems with there heating, turned out they were heating the hot water with the immersion on the cylinder, so after 2 minutes they'd run out of hot water and it'd go hot cold warm cold etc......

Re-pressurised boiler job done..........
