A very cold wet morning yesterday. Turned up to service an external combi but it had been left on. Oh well, out with the big gloves and crack on. Finally realised what the padding on this chamber door is for though, beautifully warm dry soft seat: :)

Nice pipe insulation mind, whys the pipe work all down there though, and why so far off the wall?

Thats behind the pool house, space isnt an issue and the pipes run into the pump room. There is also an air source unit.
Found a nice surprise in the watering can...used it to flush out the condensate trap (nice design on the WB) and inside was a dead rat floating about. Lurvly..

Just a few points of notice....
I see the power light on but the burner unplugged, I do that too to cool the units down, like it.
Those condense traps a miles better than Grants!
Loving the idea of the seat!!! :D
And how do you rate that tool bag over a tool tote??

only point I make is lay it all on a mat, screws are a beggar to find in gravel :)

Average Grant boiler service 5 Nuts
Average Worcester boiler service, 5 nuts, 8 bolts, few screws and a partridge in a near by tree laughing at you for the custard choosing a Worcester over a Grant!!

A mat would have been a good idea. I am very careful with nuts n bolts, always go in a dish on the top but you're right, would have been sensible.
Kimbo - FV , good spot, fortunately I didnt commission it. I did however insist they let me install a Combimate. Filter is a strainer yes.

Have you seen the new Heatslave?
i handled the final prototype at WB couple of months ago. It had the same primary baffles as the new Danesmoor which are very simple but a big thin looking.
Front firing Riello. Climate compensator on the board but you need the external kit as an optional extra. Same secondary hex as current.
Overall looks ok.
