i am about to convert my loft,, which will make space for 2 bedrooms and a shower.

The main problems is the shower....

1. the house is off a spring and not mains water.

2. the cold tank will not be high enough for the shower.

3. don't want an electric shower.

what are the options if i had had mains water i would have put a pressurised cylinder in ...

maybe a pump in the line..

any help, ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated.

you will need what is called a negative head shower pump they vary in prices from £150 + vat upwards, ask at any plumbers merchants and they can give you details of prices and options.

thankyou

will this be ok even though the pressure on the cold is not great because is off a spring

I assume that you are using a pump to get water from your spring to your cold water storage tank for the hot water.
you wont use that pump to feed the shower. you will need a twin impellar negative head pump that will take cold water from your cold water storage tank, and hot water from your cylinder to feed the shower.
