Hello plumbing lads,

does anyone know a decent scale reducer for the mains ?
I have been installing mostly the scale aster magnetic gold.

Is there a better one which I do not know ?


what sort of scale reducers are you installing ?

Does anyone actually think these work? I cant say I am convinced.
 
As GasmanxxxR1 says, chuck something in to keep manufacturers happy! If you want something that does ANYTHING I go with a combimate
 
on;y thing that actually works in my view is a proper salt fed water softener, normally just fit cheapy magnetic one to keep the warranty man happy (been using either calmag or boilermag ones lately)
 
Do you really think for 30£ you really reduce the scale pffff surely not ... It's money making products

POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler - Hot Water Issue
Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Extending outdoor tap and drain
