Hi, Can anyone tell me what the regs are, or where to look, for Boiler PVR discharge pipe. Customer is considering a swap to Combi but I'm I want to be clear about the rules.

I think,
1. continuous fall
2. outside termination, within 150mm of ground
3. not allowed to use soil pipework, unless can handle temp.

Have I missed anything?

Thanks
Malc

Does anyone know whether there are circumstances where (2) doesn't apply?

Just thinking that ladder work to bring a copper tube 10m or so down a wall is quite dangerous, while the alternative of letting it discharge from higher up probably isn't as it will have cooled by the time it runs down the wall (assuming pipe turns back towards wall before discharging)...

And I've seen quite a few new-looking installations and none have run discharge pipe to the ground.
