Hello everyone,
I've been reading some of the other threads on this forum and the advice seems really good so hopefully someone knows how to solve my problem...

I came home from work today and although the display on my boiler is on, the pilot light has gone out and won't re-ignite. I've tried leaving it for an hour or so before trying to spark it again and while sparks are appearing in the window I can't get a flame.

The time/day display on my boiler is flashing as if perhaps there's been a power cut during the day and there's noise as if the heating is on (even though it's not).

I got a new pcb fitted a week ago and between then and now the heating has been working fine. The hot water was working this morning so this is something that has happened at some point today.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

well the 'e' stands for electronic, which means it will not have a pilot
when you say you try to light, are you just turning boiler on and seeing spark in inspection window or are you twisting and pressing down the gas valve knob and pressing manual ignition,if later not a 'e'

Are you trying to light pilot with boiler on demend, if so it wont light.
Turn boiler off at selector switch,
What is presure reading
Sounds like it has over heated and locked out
Post picture would be an advantage
