My central heating isnt working please help

I have a Towerstat RS room stat, a Grasslin QE2 and a glow worm micron 40ff boiler.
I had an intermittent problem where the room stat light would be on, but the rads werent warm, and when i turned the stat down the light didnt go off, it just got dimmer. I then had to switch the system off at the main switch and switch it back on to get the heating working again so i thought it was the stat on the way out.
Now, the heating isnt coming on at all so i went and bought a new towerstat rs but it still isnt working. The hot water side is working, its only the heating.
Could it be the Grasslin thats faulty or something else??

wire the stat out and see if that works most likley to be motorised valve

call a plumber,

it may save you money if its something simple.
cost nowt for a quote.
