Brought some ladders off ebay the other day, got some telascopic ones that fold away, thought it would be a good idea to get ones that double up as a stepladder and a straight ladder. Only bad thing is, now ive got them there a mission to get down and there heavey.

Anyone got a realy decent telascopic ladder thats extremely light?

I hate using my ladders at the best of times so the lighter the better.

Will be used mainly for getting into the loft.

I had a set of telesteps for quite a while until I was off sick last year and they got put away with pug on. When I went to use them 6 weeks later they were completely seized and I couldn't shift them. I'm now using an Xtend & Climb Pro 12 tread ladder that I got from screw fix on offer last year.

Agree, Screwfix sell decent ones and are handy to keep under a shelf in the van, but for safety, still prefer something more solid.

I have one of these, very useful.
