HI, 2 days ago I've noticed that my central heating doesn't work however the hot water was OK. The engineer told that its 3 way value fault. He switched lever on the valve and radiators were warm again (he said that he will get spare parts and change the valve). Everything seemed to be OK but after few hours the boiler stopped working again but this time the boiler did not light up front panel controls at all. I have called engineer again, suddenly he changed the mind, and now he want to change the electronic parts in boiler and leave the valve as it is. Now i got bit confused as it is bit suspicious to me when someone changes mind about the faulty element and the spare part is more expensive. Now my questions. Was I tricked in some clever way or could it actually happened? And what should be done to fix the problem?
