Hi
Just using a rothenberger RP50 to test first fix radiator pipework.
part HEP and part copper.
what is the correct procedure?
Struggle to pump it up to 4.5bar!
Used pump to put water in the system then vented the air and then pumped up but became very hard to pump.
Long time since I did this at college
Cheers
Phil

Check the manufacturers instruction
It’s something like 5 bar for 10 mins
10 bar for 5 mins

get a better pump if you are struggling as it should be pretty easy unless it’s a huge system.

you can fill by mains first then pump the rest

You can get by with a drill pump to fill the system then use the rp to pressure test
