Hello guys,

I am having problems with a shower mixer valve, whenever you turn the valve onto hot, the water pressure drops to a trickle.
I know I need to strip the valve down and investigate, could this be limescale and is the best remedy to leave the valve overnight in descaler?
I know its difficult to say without being on the job but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Connor

Well as said would be good to know what shower it is but first check hot water supply ok to shower, any filter is clear, if thermostatic would thing maybe wax thermostat in shower cartridge is stuck, restricting hot floe through, maybe new cartridge required

IMHO
