Hi,

I don't deal with/have much knowledge of the CH controls but change the odd rad/rad valve and so sometimes am forced into issues with them.

Turned the power of the combi boiler at it's switch. Removed half a bucket of water to drop pressure, changed a rad valve, re-pressurised, checked all was bled. On turning boiler power back it look happy, thermostat turned right up but boiler would not respond.

The receiver (i think it might be called) has no display and just two solid red light. We looked through the manuals (me and the customer) and phoned tech support who suggested the reset button (we already tried that but tried it again.) He said there is nothing else you can do and the unit has broke. We turned the power of the house and back, nothing. Turned power of to boiler and back on, nothing.

Was all working as recently as last night. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Solved, changed it for a new one. Reading online apparently quite common that they die after a few years?
