I have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 35 CDi and came home to find it off. If I press the on button on the boiler it lights up and starts working, but the second I let go it turns off.

I've gone through the manual, but typically for me this isn't listed!

If I press and hold the on button everything works - so we can grab a quick shower, but the instant I let go its lights off.

I've got an engineer coming out on Tuesday evening to have a look, but can anyone tell me what to expect, and if its ok to hold on to the button to get it on when we need a shower?

The button works on a catch.

Try it a few times as it should catch. Its like the old tv on button

Btw don't turn your boiler on and off too much. The Worcester fans aren't a fan or being turned off at the power
