Hi , does anyone know where I can get a replacement backplate for a soapdish that my wife bought in a charity shop and didn't realise that the backplate that you fix to the wall was missing! Thanks in advance for any help

Knock a 3" nail through it. If the wife isn't happy tell her to buy another one complete with a backplate.

The time and effort required to track down the correct part for this (if indeed you can buy it separate which i doubt) is not worth the effort.

Tamz doesn't seem to be married to the standard female then :), coz he just doesnt understand this blokes problems :)

I'm married to the perfect woman Jon. Never complains, never gets on my wick, dinner on the table 5 minites after i walk in etc etc. Only thing i have to do is put the odd soap dish up
She is a 59 model tho and they've stopped making them like that.

mine is the 58 mini version, just needs the odd bump start occasionally, otherwise reliable and doesnt buy 2nd hand soap dishes

Even if you have the right backplate it would fall off in 5 minutes...these things are Mickey Mouse rubbish. Drill two holes in it and securely fix it to the wall its the only language it understands.

Ideally two stainless steel countersuck screws.

You know what? I reckon you're right , I should have stuck to the KISS principle . Cheers mate anyway
