Discuss REGULAR BOILER HELP (HEADER TANK IN LOFT) in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net

Hot tap or cold it's a mixer tap
If it’s a kitchen sink tap and it’s a mixer. Simple fix. Open the hot tap put your hand over the outlet, then open the cold tap. This should force the mains water back into the hwc and blow the airlock back into the hwc. Then (the messy bit) shut the hot tap then the cold.
