I have a problem with the bar on a roca laia gti confort boiler. The bar goes up to 3 when heating is on then drops below .5 when heating off. This causes boiler to lock up. All rads have auto bleed valves. Any body out there got any ideas??

Expansion vessel has lost it's charge pressure. May just need re-pressurising or the diaphragm may have gone and the vessel will need replacing.

Get someone in to do it if your not sure. If you know what you are doing a footpump will do the trick as it's a schraeder valve but you have to re-pressurise it against atmospheric pressure.

relieve the pressure on the system via the PRD use pressure indicative inflation device to the MI'S repressurise the system and bob should be your aunty mabel. if this fails the expansion vessel is donald. :D
