ha ha my 4 year old, just started attacking the computer before i could finsh.. what i was try to say is, whats the best or preferred method of joining the copper pipe to the radiator valve, when the copper pipe runs along the skirting board to the rad,, is see some plumbers using to 2 elbows or even a 90 degree bend going straight to the vavle but the valve dosn't sit straight. so whats the best way . thanks

Pipe given a 45 degree bend using a bender and then a soldered elbow on the end to leave a nice vertical pipe for into the vertical rad valve.

i do what best does. unless its a swap and it wouldnt match the other remaining rads in the property.

2nd favourite is using a 90 bend at the end of the horizontal pipe but connecting to the valve with a 135 ish bent pipe, i think a pipe with a kicjk on it is better than elbowing out and then elbowing up which is what some donut did on our house.

45 degree bend from an elbow or tee (with drain off) directly into the valve.
Always leaves it looking neat in my opinion.

Same as a most above, I go with an elbow (or Tee & D.O.C) with a piece of nicely bent pipe at 45o into the rad valve...

I have to say I much prefer a l/s with built in doc for drops.
I think it looks a bit neater with it being all chrome and part of the valve than a lump of brass teed in....
